Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, an innovative and meticulous property developer that delivers impactful developments across Indonesia and the wider Southeast Asian region, leveraging deep local insight and regional expertise.
Job Responsibilities
1. Project Delivery & Execution
- Manage end-to-end construction activities across all project sites, ensuring strict adherence to approved designs, specifications, and master plans.
- Collaborate daily with Project Managers and site teams to swiftly resolve design, engineering, or sequencing challenges.
- Drive progress monitoring, milestone readiness, and productivity across all work fronts.
2. Quality Assurance & Technical Compliance
- Establish and enforce robust quality control systems for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works.
- Ensure workmanship and materials consistently meet developer standards and regulatory benchmarks.
- Supervise inspections, testing, and sign-off processes with consultants and contractors.
- Lead corrective measures to address non-compliance or substandard quality.
3. Governance, Permits & Regulatory Compliance
- Guarantee all site activities comply with national and local regulations, permits, and development requirements.
- Partner with the Governance team to maintain documentation, variations, as-builts, test reports, and compliance submissions.
- Support technical audits, regulatory reviews, and inspections conducted by authorities.
4. Budget, Cost Control & Risk Management
- Monitor construction costs, variation claims, and potential overruns.
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard timelines, budgets, and quality.
- Ensure design changes and site instructions follow established governance protocols.
5. Contractor & Subcontractor Management
- Lead coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Enforce adherence to project schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, and reporting protocols.
- Chair weekly coordination meetings, ensuring clear accountability and responsibility on-site.
6. Health, Safety & Environment
- Uphold strict compliance with HSE protocols, maintaining zero tolerance for unsafe practices.
- Conduct regular safety walks, audits, and toolbox sessions with contractor teams.
- Ensure all incidents are reported, investigated, and closed with corrective actions.
7. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
- Deliver weekly executive-level reports on project progress, risks, and compliance status.
- Act as the primary construction liaison to the developer’s leadership team.
- Ensure transparent, accurate, and timely communication across all stakeholders.
8. Continuous Improvement & Post-Construction
- Lead post-construction reviews and capture lessons learned.
- Recommend process improvements for future phases and upcoming developments.
- Support the transition from construction to operations, ensuring readiness for handover.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction management, project delivery, or engineering leadership.
- Strong technical expertise in civil, structural, architectural, or MEP disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience representing developers on multi-phase or multi-site projects.
- Proven ability to manage contractors, enforce accountability, and resolve complex site challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, disciplined reporting, and strong enforcement of standards.
- Familiarity with Indonesian regulations, HSE requirements, and permitting processes is highly advantageous.
- Based in Lombok.
