About the company

Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a globally recognised CFD brokerage firm with more than 15 years of expertise in the market.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Country Manager and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring timely and precise message delivery. Facilitate seamless communication in English and Chinese between the Country Manager and global departments, including translation of written and verbal exchanges.
  • Oversee project timelines, track progress, monitor deadlines, and provide regular updates to the Country Manager.
  • Manage the Country Manager’s daily schedule, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, arranging travel, documenting meeting minutes, and ensuring follow-ups on critical actions.
  • Draft, edit, and refine correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents in both Chinese and English.
  • Maintain and organize confidential files and records for efficient access and retrieval.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management discussions and reviews.
  • Offer financial analysis and reporting support as required.
  • Handle travel arrangements, including occasional international trips.
  • Provide additional support to the Country Manager on various tasks and special assignments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Literature, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Previous experience as a Personal Assistant (PA) or Project Management Officer (PMO) is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proactive approach to task prioritization.
  • Comfortable working across departments and supporting managerial or executive roles.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive information discreetly.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaborating within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Jakarta.
  • Experience in the financial sector is advantageous.
  • Understanding of regional business dynamics and market trends.
  • This position may require occasional international travel.
