About the company

Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a globally recognised software development partner active in more than 20 countries.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel, CodeIgniter, and contemporary JavaScript frameworks. 
• Build and enhance backend APIs, database structures, and system integrations within PHP-based environments.
• Create responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using React, Vue, or Angular.
• Implement server-side functionalities using Node.js or equivalent JavaScript backend technologies when applicable.
• Integrate biometric recognition features (e.g., fingerprint or facial recognition) through hardware SDKs.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, QA specialists, and project managers to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code aligned with industry best practices.
• Manage source code repositories via Git and support deployment processes using Docker.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues, optimize performance, and ensure secure and accurate data handling.

Job Requirements

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 
• Has successfully contributed to at least seven development projects across web, mobile, or desktop platforms.
• Demonstrates strong proficiency in PHP, particularly with Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks.
• Experienced in front-end development using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Familiarity with backend JavaScript technologies (Node.js, Express.js, or NestJS) is highly advantageous.
• Possesses hands-on experience with biometric technologies and hardware SDK integration.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Comfortable working with Git, Docker, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on system reliability and data integrity.
• Conversational proficiency in English is required.
• Availability to commence work at the earliest opportunity.
