About the company

Geekhunter is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading global consulting firm’s Indonesian subsidiary.

Job Responsibilities 

• Lead and expand the Banking Business Unit, ensuring strong delivery performance and high client satisfaction.
• Report directly to the Business Unit Lead and align on strategic priorities.
• Develop and implement business strategies aligned with corporate objectives and banking industry trends.
• Own and manage P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key banking clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive sales efforts, including proposal development.
• Ensure high-quality consulting delivery across areas such as digital transformation, core banking modernization, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members while promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with regional and global teams to share best practices and foster innovation.
• Represent the organization in industry forums, client engagements, and internal leadership discussions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 15–20 years of experience in management consulting or leadership roles within banking or financial services.
• Demonstrated success in leading transformation initiatives in banking, such as core system implementation, digital banking, or regulatory/compliance programs.
• Strong commercial awareness and deep understanding of banking trends and challenges in Southeast Asia.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluent in English; Japanese proficiency is an added advantage.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
