General Manager (Sales)

About the company

Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a global corporate travel and events management company that delivers tailored solutions across corporate, energy, marine, and MICE sectors, supported by a strong international network and innovative technology.

Job Responsibilities

● Define and execute long-term business strategies to drive market growth across key sectors (Corporate, Energy, Marine, and MICE)

● Lead commercial activities by managing sales pipelines, securing high-value B2B clients, and building strategic partnerships with airlines and hotel groups

● Oversee daily operations including ticketing, visa processing, and 24/7 travel support while ensuring high service standards

● Take full ownership of P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives

● Drive digital transformation through the adoption of modern booking tools and payment platforms

● Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams while fostering a high-performance culture

Job Requirements

● 5–10 years of experience in commercially driven senior roles (e.g., GM, Head of Sales), with at least 5 years in leadership positions

● Bachelor’s degree level of education is preferred

● Experience in the travel industry or familiarity with GDS/OBT platforms is a must

● Proven track record in driving revenue growth and managing business operations

● Strong business acumen with experience in P&L management

● Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills

● Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and professional proficiency in English

● Strong network within corporate or government sectors is an advantage
