Job Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a seasoned Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead and scale their marketing efforts as they transition from a B2B-focused model to a combined B2B and B2C strategy. This role is perfect for a proven marketing leader who excels at both strategic planning and hands-on execution. The CMO will be instrumental in driving growth, relaunching the 2.0 platform, expanding into new markets, and building a strong, data-driven, yet creatively inspiring brand.

  1. Marketing Strategy & Execution

    • Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy for B2B and B2C markets (70% B2C, 30% B2B).

    • Craft a roadmap for scaling digital and e-commerce efforts, emphasizing data-driven decision-making and impactful branding.

    • Create an omnichannel marketing strategy with a primary focus on digital campaigns. Additionally, support physical store activations and offline events (e.g., booths) to ensure alignment and consistency between digital and offline efforts, though these will play a secondary role.

  2. Brand Development

    • Translate brand vision into compelling narratives and campaigns that resonate with diverse target audiences.

    • Strengthen the positioning as a pioneer in meaningful experiences, ensuring cohesive storytelling across all touchpoints.

  3. Digital & Performance Marketing

    • Lead performance marketing efforts, focusing on ROI-driven strategies and clear conversion metrics.

    • Optimize digital channels (social media, paid ads, email, SEO) to drive acquisition and retention.

    • Identify, engage, and collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and influencers to amplify reach.

  4. Leadership & Team Building

    • Initially act as a hands-on marketing leader, executing campaigns and driving initiatives directly.

    • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team, including digital marketers, graphic designers, and social media specialists (3–4 people).

    • Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and results-driven execution.

  5. Fundraising & Market Expansion

    • Contribute to fundraising efforts by presenting a strong marketing growth narrative to investors.

    • Support regional expansion, including launching in Singapore and scaling the B2C offering.

  6. Social Impact & Corporate Responsibility

    • Highlight social impact initiatives by promoting meaningful experiences for underprivileged communities.

    • Collaborate with corporate partners to integrate social responsibility into their engagement strategies.

  7. Stakeholder Management

    • Work closely with the CEO and sales teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.

    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to leverage partnerships and drive growth.

 

Job Requirements

  • 8–10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital and e-commerce.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling brands, particularly in fast-growing startups or entrepreneurial environments.

  • Strong expertise in performance marketing with a focus on ROI and data analytics.

  • Creative flair for storytelling and brand building, complemented by a data-driven approach.

  • Hands-on experience in both strategic planning and campaign execution across B2B and B2C markets.

  • Leadership experience, with the ability to build and manage a team effectively.

  • Familiarity with regional market expansion strategies is a plus.
