Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established beauty industry company with over 2 decades of operation and an extensive presence across Indonesia through more than 30 branches.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic legal counsel on corporate matters, employment law, and HR-related policies to ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations. 
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including commercial contracts, employment agreements, and corporate policies.
  • Lead and manage legal risk assessments, regulatory audits, and compliance initiatives across the organisation.
  • Advise management on the legal implications of business decisions and support the development of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, including litigation, mediation, and arbitration, as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and business leaders to align legal frameworks with organizational goals and employee relations strategies.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal opinions and reports to support executive decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of compliance, integrity, and ethical business practices across all levels of the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive legal experience, with a strong focus on corporate legal affairs and human resources development (HRD). 
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in Indonesian corporate law, contract law, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
  • Solid legal foundation with hands-on experience in compliance, regulatory matters, employment law, and HR practices.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment, corporate, licensing, civil, and criminal law within the Indonesian legal framework.
  • Proven ability to conduct in-depth legal research, provide sound legal analysis, and deliver well-reasoned opinions to support strategic decision-making.
  • Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts and agreements.
  • Exposure to both litigation and non-litigation processes; experience in negotiation, mediation, or arbitration is considered an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and employee relations skills, with excellent communication, coordination, and emotional intelligence. 
  • Demonstrates resilience and professionalism under pressure.
