Role Overview

We're hiring on behalf of our partner's client, an event management company.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Salesforce Administrator to join our Commercial Applications team. This role will primarily focus on supporting daily CRM operations, handling user support, data hygiene, basic configuration (fields, layouts, rules), and report/dashboard creation, working under senior guidance to maintain the platform, onboard users, and assist with testing new features, focusing on data accuracy and process improvement to help teams operate efficiently

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with about 1 years of experience in CRM Administrator. You’ll gain hands-on experience working in a collaborative team that supports multiple commercial applications, while developing towards owning Salesforce and driving improvements in the future.

Job Responsibilities

  • User Support & Management:
    • Act as first-level support for user questions and issues.
    • Manage user accounts, including creation, deactivation, and access requests.
    • Troubleshoot login problems, errors, and permission issues.
  • Configuration & Maintenance:
    • Modify page layouts, record types, fields, and picklists.
    • Build and maintain validation rules, approval processes, and basic security settings (Profiles/Permission Sets).
    • Manage data quality through duplicate checks, imports, and data cleaning.
    • Support routine system maintenance and updates.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Create and update reports, dashboards, and list views for various teams.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Assist with building simple automations using tools like Process Builder or Flows.
    • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-release checks for new features.
  • Documentation & Training:
    • Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and system documentation.
    • Help onboard new users and assist with training.
  • Collaboration: Work with senior admins and developers to resolve complex issues and support integrations.
  • Learning & Best Practices:
    • Stay updated on new Salesforce releases and best practices.
    • Learn to apply business logic and understand complex processes within the platform.

Job Requirements

  • 1+ years or equivalent hands-on experience as a CRM Admin.
  • Understanding core CRM concepts.
  • Importing/exporting data (Data Loader), ensuring data quality, list views, reports, and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with incident, problem, and service request management processes.
  • Experience using Jira or another modern ticketing system.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate unfamiliar issues methodically.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documenting work for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • A proactive mindset with an eagerness to learn and take ownership of new applications.
  • Upskill new team members that may join to assist in supporting of LiveBuzz

Nice-to-Haves

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) is highly desirable
  • Reporting/Dashboards: Building dashboards for adoption, data quality, or business metrics.
  • A strong desire to learn new processes and keep up with Salesforce updates (and AI!).
  • Eagerness to learn, a curious mindset, and knowing what you don't know. 
  • Translating user requests into technical solutions and understanding business processes
  • Strong verbal/written skills for liaising with users and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of ITIL practices.
  • Previous involvement in vendor management or application improvement initiatives.
