Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a company pioneering in the aquaculture industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive financial strategy that underpins operational excellence and sustainable long-term growth.
- Design, manage, and evaluate budgets, forecasts, and financial models to optimize resource allocation and efficiency
- Direct financial reporting, accounting, and audit functions to ensure accuracy, transparency, and adherence to both local and international standards.
- Champion ESG compliance and sustainability initiatives, aligning practices with recognised frameworks such as IFC Performance Standards.
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to safeguard financial resilience.
- Lead capital-raising efforts—including equity and debt financing—to support expansion strategies, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks to secure long-term viability.
- Establish and enforce robust internal controls to protect assets and uphold ethical standards.
- Provide clear guidance on financial and risk management to subsidiaries and affiliates, ensuring alignment and consistent authority across the company.
- Act as the principal liaison with investors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
- Present financial performance and forward-looking insights to the Board of Directors, offering strategic recommendations to enhance growth and profitability
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
- Encourage cross-functional collaboration to integrate financial objectives with operational priorities and ESG commitments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 7–10+ years of senior leadership experience with proven success in fundraising, financial modelling, compliance, audit, risk management, and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms.
- Strong expertise in ESG principles, sustainability reporting, and compliance standards (e.g., ESAP, IFC Performance Standards).
- Demonstrated ability to lead financial governance, internal controls, and cross-entity consolidation.
- Preferably based around Central Java.
