Job Responsibilities

Business Development & Partnership Management

  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with e-commerce platforms, digital payment providers, and other relevant ecosystems.
  • Manage the full partnership lifecycle: prospecting, negotiation, onboarding, and post-launch performance.
  • Explore cross-selling opportunities and new distribution models to expand market reach.
  • Ensure product competitiveness through continuous improvement of customer experience and pricing strategy.
  • Monitor performance metrics (sales, conversion, retention, claim ratios) and propose improvement strategies.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and insights for management review.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams (product & tech, marketing, operations) to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to replicate and adapt successful business models across markets.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and local partners to ensure compliance with insurance laws and guidelines.
  • Support team development and knowledge sharing on digital partnership and e-commerce strategies.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
  • Knowledge of digital platforms/marketplaces (e.g., TikTok, JD, Taobao, Shopee, Lazada, Grab).
  • Familiarity with the Chinese insurance regulatory framework.
  • Strong understanding of micro insurance, digital distribution models, and online consumer behavior.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (written and verbal).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and quick to act on issues.
  • Willingness to travel outside China.
