About the company

Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our partner's client, a data marketplace and data platform infrastructure company

Job Responsibilities
● Lead and manage the entire business team and activities, encompassing marketing, business development and sales
● Develop and lead the company's corporate and marketing strategies, consolidate segmentation, targeting and go-to-market plans from all industry vertical segments and direct the execution of various marketing activities
● Produce product definition and business requirements for our data platform products and analytics services for the Technology team
● Manage customer segmentation strategy and develop smart attribution modeling, ensuring the company reach the right audience with the right message, at the right place and time
● Prepare and monitor the implementation of the marketing plan and OKR across all marketing aspects, with clear target and/or KPI for each aspect
● Develop strategic planning and high-level metrics related to ROI
● Measure the performance of all activities, and assess them against goals (ROI, KPI) and
adjust strategy and activities to achieve them
● You will plan and prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets, and allocate resources
appropriately
● Lead the marketing team, which includes training the current employees and hiring for
necessary positions
● Manage and control the quality of team’s work products
● Manage and optimize marketing initiatives across all customer lifecycle journey from
awareness, acquisition, activation, revenue, and retention
● Actively partner up with strategic partners for user acquisition purposes
● Ability to troubleshoot and quickly address what does not work (and enhance what
works)
● Utilize data and research at the customer level to gain a better understanding of their
usage behaviors, including impacts of current creative and content strategies and implementation, and convert these into marketing initiatives that work
  
Job Requirements
● 5-10 years’ experience in branding and marketing for a digital/tech start up and/or industry with at least 5 years of experience in the leadership position
● Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (marketing performance, branding & product marketing, communication, analytics, partnership, content)
● Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
● Great interpersonal and communication skills
● Business exposure in start-up, tech or financial industry (B2B)
● Strategic thinker
● Attention to detail
● Experience at a growth phase company is a plus
● History of translating customer insights into marketing strategies that drive revenues
and grow customer value
● Understanding of a fast-paced and ever-changing startup environment, “roll up the
sleeves” mindset and drive to accomplish what is necessary.
● Excellent leadership skills.
