About the company

Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a distinguished leader in the Sumatra Area, overseeing diverse business units across the Automotive, Retail, Real Estate, Hospitality, Banking, and food and beverage industries.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the formulation and implementation of the company-wide internal audit strategy.
• Assess and enhance the effectiveness of internal control systems, risk management practices, and compliance mechanisms.
• Execute audits across operational, financial, and investigative scopes within different departments.
• Present key findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and the Audit Committee.
• Provide guidance and professional development to the internal audit team, ensuring high standards of audit quality and independence are maintained.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
• Holding a professional certification such as CIAP would be considered an advantage. 
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in internal audit, including at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Comprehensive understanding of risk-based auditing principles, internal control frameworks, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Demonstrated strength in leadership, analytical thinking, and effective communication.
• Willingness to travel for audit assignments across various business units.
