Job Responsibilities
Looking for an experienced and driven Operations & Business Development Manager to lead daily operations and spearhead growth for our specialty coffee café in Bali. The majority of your time will be focused on business development - driving revenue, building partnerships, expanding our customer base, and creating new opportunities for the brand. The remaining part of the role will be dedicated to overseeing smooth, high-quality café operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines the organisational skill of a strong operator with the creativity and initiative of a growth-focused entrepreneur.
- Business Development
- Identify, pursue, and secure new revenue opportunities - from wholesale accounts to events, collaborations, and retail expansions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, and strategic partners.
- Create and drive marketing campaigns that drive footfall and increase brand awareness.
- Develop seasonal promotions, loyalty programs, and cross-promotions with partners.
- Research market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of opportunities.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media strategies and paid campaigns.
- Operations & Business Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain high standards in coffee quality and overall customer experience.
- Track and analyse sales, costs & profitability, implementing improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing café team.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Set performance targets and provide coaching and feedback to staff.
- Customer Experience & Brand Representation
- Maintain exceptional customer service and engagement standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism.
- Organise and oversee community events, coffee tastings, and educational sessions.
- Develop and drive marketing strategies to enhance footfall and revenue diversification.
Job Requirements
- Proven track record in business development - minimum 5 years in a growth-focused role within hospitality, F&B, coffee, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated success in securing partnerships, increasing sales, and launching marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results.
- Strong leadership and team management skills - able to inspire, coach, and lead a highperforming service team.
- Deep understanding of brand-building and customer experience design in a premium hospitality environment.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills - able to balance operational oversight with strategic growth priorities.
- Financial acumen - experience with budgeting, forecasting, and identifying new revenue streams, alongside cost control and inventory management
- Customer-focused mindset - ability to build a loyal, engaged community through both in-person and digital touchpoints.
- Tech-savvy and adaptable - skilled with POS systems, CRM tools, ordering platforms, and social media management.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
