Job Responsibilities
Working under the supervision of the Senior Barista, this role focuses on drink preparation, customer service, and learning advanced coffee techniques. The Junior Barista helps maintain smooth daily operations while developing skills for career growth within the specialty coffee industry.
- Prepare espresso drinks, manual brews, and latte art to standard
- Provide excellent hospitality and customer service
- Support daily café operations: setup, service, and closing
- Maintain cleanliness and follow hygiene & safety standards
- Care for coffee equipment (basic cleaning, usage; calibration preferred)
- Assist with stock rotation and restocking during shifts
- Learn and grow under the guidance of the Senior Barista
Job Requirements
- 2–3 years’ experience as a barista (specialty coffee preferred, but not required)
- Strong skills in latte art and manual brew (mandatory)
- Good English communication skills (required for training with expat team)
- Hospitality mindset with strong service skills
- Knowledge of specialty coffee & teas (preferred)
- Experience with espresso machine calibration (preferred)
- At least completed a standard barista training (certification not required)
