About the company
Geekhunter is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established travel agency in Indonesia that specializes in religious travel, particularly Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategy for Hajj/Umrah products, aligned with company goals.
- Understand and monitor regulations, competitor activity, and market trends.
- Build and maintain B2B client relationships; approach potential partners/clients.
- Oversee digital marketing (campaigns, promotions, social media, SEO, paid ads); analyze performance and optimize.
- Present product offerings to B2B clients; explain features, value proposition clearly.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to Director on promotion methods, business opportunities, and market conditions.
- Frequent client visits — mobility is required.
- Manage, mentor, and support the small marketing team to ensure good output (digital + design).
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, Travel/Tourism, or related field.
- Experience: 2 - 5 years in travel arrangement industry, ideally with Hajj/Umrah travel.
- Proven track record of B2B sales / partnerships / client acquisition.
- Strong digital marketing skills: planning campaigns, promo strategy, analyzing metrics & reports.
- Good presentation & communication skills.
- Leadership: able to lead small team, allocate tasks, ensure quality.
- Mobile / flexible work style, willing to travel to clients.
- Analytical mindset, comfortable working with data to recommend strategy.
- Knowledge of travel regulatory environment and competitive landscape is a plus.
- Existing network / database in travel / pilgrimage sector.
- Experience with budgeting & forecasting marketing spend.
- Holder of SIM A or SIM C (able to drive car or motorcycle for client visits)
