Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Aquaculture Operations
- Carry out daily fish farming activities, including feeding, monitoring, and site maintenance
- Monitor water quality, fish health, and environmental conditions
- Support harvesting and fish grading processes
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure optimal production efficiency
2. Production & Processing
- Assist in fish processing activities (fresh and frozen products)
- Ensure product quality complies with Japanese SOP and standards
- Support packaging and preparation for distribution
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
3. Logistics & Distribution
- Support product delivery for both domestic and export channels
- Coordinate with the logistics team on shipment schedules and quality control
- Monitor inventory levels and stock movement
4. Administration & Reporting
- Maintain daily operational records (production, mortality rate, etc.)
- Prepare simple operational reports
- Provide general administrative support
5. PR, Tour & Customer Engagement
- Support company visits and tour activities
- Explain aquaculture processes to visitors and partners
- Assist in branding and company exposure initiatives
Requirements
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any relevant field
- Willing to be based in a remote aquaculture site
- Physically fit and comfortable with fieldwork
- Japanese proficiency at minimum JLPT N2 level
