Job Responsibilities
- Define and drive the vision, strategy, and objectives of the Data Management & Analytics (DM&A) business unit in alignment with company goals.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
- Design and execute go-to-market strategies, service offerings, and value propositions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Understand client challenges and translate them into effective data-driven solutions.
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery to ensure quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
- Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations, and business development materials.
- Ensure adoption of industry best practices, methodologies, and modern technologies across engagements.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of consultants, engineers, analysts, and architects.
- Develop and implement training, certification, and career progression programs.
- Manage resource allocation, team performance, and succession planning.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in data management, analytics, AI, and digital transformation.
- Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and professional forums.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for business and delivery performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and overall financial performance of the business unit.
- Report to the Managing Director and align on strategic priorities.
- Contribute to company-wide strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
- Balance business growth, delivery excellence, and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
- 15–20 years of experience in IT consulting, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within data management, analytics, or digital transformation.
- Demonstrated success leading teams of 30+ members and delivering large-scale, complex data initiatives.
- Strong expertise in data platforms, governance, analytics solutions, cloud technologies, and industry standards.
- Proven capabilities in business development, project execution, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Japanese is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, PMP, or equivalent) are preferred.
- Experience working with multinational clients, particularly in automotive, financial services, or manufacturing sectors, is a plus.
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
