Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading provider of premium heavy equipment and engines across Indonesia.
Job Responsibilities
- Possess a strong understanding of the heavy equipment industry, including product applications, supply chain processes, and customer service standards.
- Skilled in consultative selling, advanced negotiation, account management, relationship building, sales forecasting, funnel management, and territory planning.
- Capable of managing the full sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification to quoting, negotiation, closing, delivery oversight, and post‑sale follow‑up — ensuring alignment with revenue, margin, and pipeline KPIs.
- Able to assess customer operations, identify opportunities for added value, and clearly communicate the company’s solutions to achieve or exceed targets.
- Competent in gathering and analysing market intelligence, monitoring competitors, preparing reports, and anticipating industry trends to maintain strong lead quality and win rates.
- Experienced in evaluating creditworthiness, securing sound business deals, monitoring receivables, and proactively managing collections to safeguard profitability.
- Background in the B2B field sales with regular customer and site visits, supported by structured territory coverage planning (field‑oriented role: approx. 80% outside, 20% office).
- Demonstrates strong customer focus, results orientation, and adherence to ethical conduct consistent with company values.
- Proven teamwork, planning, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and reliable execution skills.
- Able to collaborate effectively across functions, including Sales Support, Application Engineering, Parts, Service, Finance/Accounting, and leadership teams across branches/areas.
- Proficient in Business English for professional communication and MS Office for proposals, reporting, and analysis.
Job Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) in any discipline; candidates with an engineering background are strongly preferred.
- At least 2 years of proven sales experience, ideally in retail sales with hands‑on canvassing and regular customer visits (not limited to office‑based or remote sales).
- Industry exposure in Heavy Equipment Unit (P1), Leasing, Bank, Automotive, Truck, especially in Rental & Used Equipment.
- Must be stationed at the designated branch location.
- For site‑based roles, dormitory accommodation will be provided.
- Willingness to undertake extensive travel and daily canvassing, which may include long road journeys, sea crossings, forest areas, challenging terrain, and assignments in remote or high‑risk locations.
- Flexibility to engage in customer meetings or business entertainment outside of standard office hours, including evenings and weekends.
