Job Responsibilities
IT Asset & Infrastructure Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of IT assets—including workstations, networking hardware, and peripherals—covering inventory, condition, and usage tracking
- Conduct regular assessments of office IT equipment to ensure functionality and flag needs for maintenance or replacement
- Coordinate and oversee the deployment, setup, and configuration of hardware, software, and network infrastructure
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide first to mid-level support for connectivity, device, and network-related issues, including Wi-Fi stability and LAN setup
- Offer operating system-level support across macOS, Windows, and Linux environments, including basic system administration and driver management
- Assist with printer configuration, email setup, and standard software installation in alignment with internal IT protocols
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Manage the procurement process for IT and office technology needs, ensuring alignment with licensing, budget, and security compliance standards
- Serve as liaison with external vendors for equipment servicing, technical support, and maintenance agreements
Security Awareness & Monitoring
- Assess software legitimacy, enforce installation of licensed applications, and configure systems in accordance with established security protocols
- Install, update, and manage antivirus and endpoint protection tools; monitor for potential threats and take timely action on alerts
- Conduct preliminary reviews of security event logs and alerts to identify anomalies, such as unauthorized application activity or firewall breaches
- Monitor network traffic for unusual patterns or potential misuse; ensure secure decommissioning of hardware containing sensitive information
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to IT asset utilization, repair activity, procurement tracking, and incident reports
- Support compliance initiatives and internal audits through systematic documentation of inventory, usage logs, and security procedures
Job Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in IT Support or related functions
- Proficient with operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Skilled in resolving hardware, software, and basic networking issues
- Experienced in managing IT assets across their lifecycle, including inventory and condition assessments
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, including software authentication and threat mitigation
- Capable of monitoring internet usage and responding to low-level security alerts
- Familiar with secure data handling practices and proper disposal of sensitive hardware
- Strong documentation skills for asset tracking, procurement summaries, and incident reporting
- Comfortable working with vendors and supervising basic technical implementations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical problem-solving abilities
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus
- Experience with IT asset management tools or support ticketing systems is advantageous
